Everyone has a mountain. Maybe yours is a stack of unpaid bills, a strained marriage, a health scare, or a habit you just can't seem to break. Whatever it is, it feels permanent — like it's been there so long it will never move. But Jesus looked at His disciples that day and told them that no mountain is too big for God.
Here's what's surprising: Jesus didn't say you need great faith. He compared it to a mustard seed, one of the smallest seeds a farmer planted. That means the power doesn't come from the size of your faith — it comes from the size of your God. So stop measuring yourself and start trusting Him.
So how do you live this out today? Start by naming your mountain honestly in prayer. Tell God exactly what feels impossible — don't dress it up or downplay it. Faith begins with honesty, not pretending everything is fine.
Then take one small step of trust. Make the phone call, offer the apology, submit the application, or simply choose not to give up today. Mountains rarely crumble all at once; they usually move one act of obedience at a time. Every small step you take in faith is proof you believe God is bigger than what stands in front of you.
Dear Lord, I bring You my mountain today — the thing that feels too heavy for me to move. Take my small, imperfect faith and do what only You can do. Help me trust You one step at a time. Amen.
