Jesus asked a man with a withered hand to do the very thing that seemed impossible: stretch it out. The man didn't argue, explain, or wait until his hand felt stronger. He simply obeyed, and restoration happened in the moment of his obedience. Sometimes the healing starts when the step of faith starts.

Then he told the man,“Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out; and it was restored whole, just like the other.
Maybe God is asking you to move before you feel ready. Forgive before the relationship is fixed. Try again before you feel confident. Show up before you feel whole. Obedience often comes first, and the strength follows.
Notice also that the man had to expose his weak hand in public. Many of us work hard to hide our broken places, but healing rarely happens in hiding. When you bring your struggle honestly to Jesus, you put it in the hands of the only One who can restore it.
So today, ask yourself: what is my withered place? A hurt you have nursed for years, a habit you cannot break, a dream that has shriveled up. Take one small, obedient step toward God with it. He is still in the business of making withered things whole.
Dear Lord, I bring You the withered places in my life that I have kept hidden for too long. Give me the courage to stretch them out to You in simple obedience today. Thank You that You restore what I cannot fix myself. Amen.
