Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.
When Jesus sent out His followers, He didn't just tell them to talk about God's power. He told them to carry it straight to people who were hurting. That same assignment belongs to us today, because someone near you right now needs God's touch.
You might not feel qualified to pray for someone's healing, but you don't have to be. God is not looking for experts; He is looking for willing hands. Offer to pray with a sick friend, drop off a meal, or sit with someone in a hospital waiting room. Small acts of care often open the door for God to do big things.
Healing is not always physical, either. Some people around you carry wounds no one can see, like grief, shame, or deep loneliness. Your listening ear, a kind word, or even your forgiveness can be the way God starts to mend their hearts.
And notice one more thing: give it all freely. You did not pay for God's love, so you cannot charge others for yours. Give your time, your prayers, and your compassion without keeping score or expecting anything back.
Father, thank You for freely pouring out Your love and grace on me. Make me a channel of Your healing to the hurting people around me today. Help me give as generously as I have received. In Jesus' name, Amen.
