Mark 9:24

This father didn't clean himself up before coming to Jesus. He was honest about the mess inside him - real faith and real doubt living side by side. And Jesus didn't turn him away.

Many of us assume God only wants our strong, confident prayers. So when doubts creep in, we go quiet or pretend everything is fine. But Jesus welcomes the prayer that admits weakness, because honesty with God is not the opposite of faith - it's often where real faith begins.

Today, instead of hiding your struggles, name them in prayer. If you're facing something that feels impossible - a health scare, a broken relationship, a bill you can't pay - bring it to God and tell Him exactly where you're wobbly. You don't have to fix your feelings first.

Notice that this honest prayer moved Jesus to act. When you voice your doubts to God instead of nursing them alone, they become a doorway instead of a wall. Take one specific worry to Him today and see what honesty opens up.

Father, I do believe in You, but I confess my faith wavers in the hard places. Meet me right there, strengthen what is weak in me, and help me trust You one honest step at a time. Amen.
