Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 9:23 · Faith
Reflection 1

When a desperate father said to Jesus, 'if You can do anything,' Jesus turned the question right back on him. The real issue was never God's power—it was the man's willingness to trust it. That is often our struggle too. We believe God can do anything in theory, but we quietly doubt He will do something in our own situation.

Reflection 2

Think about the area of your life you have already labeled impossible. Maybe it is a broken relationship, a financial hole, or a habit you have failed to break a hundred times. Today, Jesus invites you to stop calculating what you can manage and start trusting what He can do.

Reflection 3

Faith is practical, not just a feeling. Pick one specific impossibility and pray about it by name this week. Then take one small obedient step—a phone call, an apology, a changed routine—believing God is working even when you cannot see it yet.

Reflection 4

And if your faith feels small, take heart. God is not waiting for perfect confidence before He moves. An honest, trembling 'Lord, help my unbelief' has never once been turned away.

Prayer

Father, I bring You the situations I have quietly given up on. Grow my faith until I trust Your power more than my limitations. Help me take today's step of obedience, believing that with You nothing is impossible. Amen.
