He who believes and is baptized will be saved

Mark 16:16 · Faith
Reflection 1

Believing in Jesus is more than agreeing that He existed or even that He died for you. Real faith is trust—the kind that hands over the steering wheel of your life. And trust always shows up in what we do, not just in what we think.

Reflection 2

That's why baptism matters. It's the first public step of a believing heart, a way of saying out loud, 'I belong to Jesus.' If you've trusted Him but never taken that step, don't let fear or busyness hold you back. Obedience isn't a burden—it's how faith grows strong.

Reflection 3

If you were baptized years ago, let that memory anchor you today. When doubt whispers that you're not really saved, you can point to a moment in time when you publicly staked your life on Christ. Your salvation doesn't rest on your feelings; it rests on His promise.

Reflection 4

So live today like someone who truly belongs to God. Take one small step of trust—forgive that person, pray about that worry, tell someone what Jesus means to you. Faith grows every single time we act on it.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You that salvation is as simple as trusting Your Son and following Him in obedience. Help me take the next step You're asking of me, and give me the courage to live my faith out loud today. Amen.
