Mark 13:13

Following Jesus isn't always popular. Sometimes standing up for what's right makes you the odd one out at work, in your family, or even among old friends. Jesus never promised that faith would win us a crowd — He promised He would be with us when it doesn't.

Endurance usually doesn't look dramatic. It looks like staying honest when cutting corners would be easier, praying before a meal even when people stare, or quietly walking away from gossip. These small, daily choices are where real faithfulness is built.

So how do you keep going when your faith costs you something? Stay connected to God every day through prayer and His Word. Don't try to stand alone — find even one or two believers who will encourage you. And remember, opposition often means you're shining light, not failing.

When you feel like giving up, hold on to this: God sees every quiet stand you take. Every time you choose faithfulness over approval, He notices, and nothing is wasted. You're not enduring in your own strength — His Spirit carries you.

Don't measure your walk by applause or approval. Measure it by faithfulness. Keep showing up for Jesus today, and let Him handle the tomorrow part.

Dear Lord, thank You that You never leave me alone when my faith costs me something. Give me strength to keep standing for You, even when it's hard or unpopular. Help me endure to the end with my eyes fixed on You. Amen.
