We all have a mountain—something in our lives that looks impossible to move. Maybe it's a pile of debt, a health scare, a marriage that's strained, or a fear that won't let go. Jesus isn't handing us a magic formula here. He's showing us that no problem we face is bigger than God's power working through a believing heart.
Notice how closely faith is tied to what we say. Our words usually reveal what our hearts truly believe. So this week, try a simple swap: instead of saying, "This will never work out," say, "God is able, and I'm trusting Him with this." It's not about pretending everything is fine—it's about speaking truth over your situation instead of letting it speak over you.
Doubt rarely announces itself loudly. It creeps in through the things we dwell on, the news we scroll, the conversations we entertain. One practical way to guard your heart is to feed your faith on purpose—read God's promises, remember the prayers He's already answered, and spend time with people who remind you who He is.
And remember, faith isn't one big dramatic moment. It's a daily decision to trust God with what you can't control. Start small today: name your mountain honestly before Him, take one step forward, and let your trust grow as you go.
Father, I bring You my mountain today, and You already know exactly what it is. Help me believe that You are bigger than anything I'm facing, and guard my heart when doubt tries to sneak in. I choose to trust You with this. In Jesus' name, Amen.
