He said to her,“Daughter, cheer up. Your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
The woman in this story had suffered for twelve years. She had spent everything, tried everything, and by the time she reached for Jesus, she was desperate and ashamed. She didn't ask for attention. She just believed that one touch was enough.
Notice how Jesus responded. He didn't correct her for reaching out from the crowd. He called her 'Daughter.' He didn't just heal her body, He restored her dignity and gave her a place in His family.
Whatever you're carrying today, whether it's sickness, worry, or a burden you've hidden from everyone, bring it to Jesus the same way. You don't need perfect words or a perfect life. You just need to reach for Him in simple, honest faith.
And when He answers, receive His words as your own: cheer up and go in peace. Don't keep rehearsing the fear you lived with before. Walk forward today believing that God sees you, loves you, and is bigger than what you're facing.
Dear Lord, thank You that You see me and welcome me even when I feel hidden and unworthy. I bring my struggles to You today and trust You with them. Help me live in Your peace instead of my fear. Amen.
