Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.

Luke 6:37 · Forgiveness
Reflection 1

It happens so fast. Someone cuts you off in traffic, a coworker takes credit for your work, or a family member says the same hurtful thing again—and before you know it, you've already written the verdict in your head.

Reflection 2

Jesus invites us into a different way of responding. Holding onto judgment doesn't fix the other person; it only hardens us. But when we let go of the need to condemn, we make room for grace, both for them and for ourselves.

Reflection 3

Here's the beautiful part: letting go frees two people at once. When you release someone from your mental courtroom, you also release yourself from carrying the weight of their offense. Grudges are heavy, and God never asked you to haul them around.

Reflection 4

Try this today: think of one person who's been living rent-free in your head as an offender. Then choose one small act of release—pray a blessing over them, stop rehearsing the wrong, or simply decide not to bring it up again. You might be surprised how much lighter you feel.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for showing me mercy instead of judgment. Help me let go of the criticism and grudges I've been carrying, and give me Your grace toward those who have hurt me. As I set others free, set me free too. Amen.
