Luke 6:19

The crowd that day didn't come to Jesus with polished prayers or perfect faith. They came with real, raw need, and they were desperate enough to press through the mob just to get close. That's the kind of honesty God can work with.

Sometimes we assume healing is only for people who have it all together spiritually. But notice that these people simply reached out. They touched the hem of hope, and Jesus met them right there. Your part is not to impress Him; your part is to come near.

So what does that look like today? Maybe it's a simple, honest prayer in your car before work: 'Lord, I'm hurting, and I need You.' Maybe it's opening your Bible for two minutes when you usually scroll your phone. Closeness to Jesus starts with small, deliberate steps toward Him.

And don't forget: His healing power still flows through everyday people. When you pray for a sick friend, sit with someone who's grieving, or speak hope into a discouraged coworker, you become part of what God is doing. Reach out to Him, then let His touch reach others through you.

Dear Lord, I come to You today just as I am, with all my wounds and worries. Thank You that Your power is not reserved for the perfect but poured out on all who seek You. Touch what needs healing in my life, and make me an instrument of Your comfort to someone else today. Amen.
