Luke 13:13

For eighteen years, that woman lived bent over, unable to lift her face to anyone. But Jesus saw her. In a crowded synagogue, He called her forward and touched her, and everything changed. That's the kind of Savior we have—One who notices the people the world looks past.

So let me ask you: what's bending you over right now? Maybe it's worry that won't let up, grief you carry quietly, or shame from long ago. Whatever it is, Jesus still invites us to come close. He touches our lives through prayer, His Word, and the kindness of His people, and He can straighten what feels permanently crooked.

Notice what she did the moment she stood up straight—she glorified God. She didn't slip out the back door. When God lifts something off your shoulders, don't stay silent about it. Say it out loud, tell a friend, write it down. Praise keeps your healing alive in your heart.

And here's your challenge today: be the hands of Jesus for someone else. A phone call, a warm meal, a simple prayer in their name—these are His touch in the world. Ask God to put one bent-over person in your path, then don't walk past them.

Father, thank You for seeing me even when I feel invisible. Touch the places in my life where I've been bent under for too long, and help me answer Your healing with praise instead of silence. Show me one person today I can encourage the way You've encouraged me. Amen.
