Luke 1:77

Salvation isn't meant to be a mystery you have to guess about. God wants you to know—really know—that your sins can be forgiven and your relationship with Him made right. This isn't just information for your head; it's a truth meant to change how you live every single day.

So here's an honest question: are you living like a forgiven person? Many of us keep dragging old failures back out, replaying mistakes that God has already wiped clean. Today, refuse to pick up guilt that heaven has thrown away. When shame whispers your past, answer it with what Jesus has done for you.

There's also a piece of this meant to be passed on. John prepared people by telling them forgiveness was possible, and someone in your world needs that same message right now. It might be a coworker weighed down by regret, a family member far from God, or a friend who believes they've gone too far. You don't need a sermon—just a simple, honest word that God forgives.

Start today with gratitude. Name one specific sin God has forgiven you for, and let that thankfulness shape how you treat yourself and others. A heart that knows it is forgiven becomes a heart that freely forgives.

Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of knowing my sins are completely forgiven. Help me to live today in that freedom instead of shame, and give me courage to share this hope with someone who needs it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
