Luke 1:52

We live in a world that pushes us to climb—to get noticed, promoted, and praised. But God's kingdom works upside down. He isn't impressed by thrones, titles, or follower counts. He is drawn to the person who simply comes to Him with an honest, open heart.

So ask yourself: where am I still trying to prove myself? Maybe it's at work, in your family, or even at church. Today, try letting go of the need to be seen. Do one good thing you'd normally want credit for, and let God be your only audience.

Humility isn't thinking poorly of yourself—it's thinking of yourself less. It looks like listening before speaking, admitting when you're wrong, and helping someone who can never repay you. Those small, hidden choices matter more to God than any spotlight.

Here's the good news: the God who lifts up the lowly has not overlooked you. Your quiet faithfulness—the stuff nobody claps for—is fully seen by Him. Stay low, keep serving, and trust Him to handle your elevation in His timing.

Dear Lord, forgive me for the times I've chased recognition instead of serving quietly. Help me stay humble today and trust You to lift me up in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, Amen.
