Long before Jesus was born, God made a beautiful promise: a day was coming when He would teach His people Himself. That day has come. So when you feel a pull in your heart toward Jesus, don't brush it off — that draw is the Father Himself speaking to you.
How do you live this today? Start by making space to listen. Open your Bible slowly, pray honestly, and sit quietly for even five minutes. God usually doesn't shout; He teaches hearts that are still enough to hear.
It also means staying teachable. Bring your real questions to God — about your job, your family, your worries — and expect Him to answer through Scripture, wise friends, and gentle nudges in your spirit. When something He says touches you, act on it instead of just nodding along.
You were never meant to figure life out alone. The God who spoke through the prophets still speaks today, and every lesson He teaches leads you closer to Jesus. Let Him be your Teacher in the ordinary moments — at the kitchen table, in the car, at work — not just on Sunday.
Father, thank You for promising to teach me Yourself. Quiet my heart today so I can hear Your voice, and draw me closer to Jesus with everything You show me. Amen.
