Jesus said to them,“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

John 6:35 · Faith
Reflection 1

We all know what it feels like to be empty. Sometimes it's not our stomach but our soul—that restless ache no amount of scrolling, snacking, or shopping seems to fix. We keep reaching for things, hoping the next one will finally fill the hole.

Reflection 2

Jesus offers Himself as the answer to that deep hunger. Not a quick snack, but real, lasting nourishment for the soul. And notice—He invites us to come to Him, which means this isn't a one-time meal but a daily relationship.

Reflection 3

So what does that look like today? Start small: spend a few quiet minutes with Him in the morning before your phone takes over, or talk to Him honestly while you drive, cook, or walk the dog. When that restless ache rises up, let it be a nudge to turn toward Him instead of toward another distraction.

Reflection 4

Feeding on Jesus also means trusting Him with what's on your plate right now—your worries, your work, your relationships. Each time you choose to believe He's taking care of you, your soul gets fed a little more. Real satisfaction doesn't come from getting more; it comes from drawing closer.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for being everything my soul truly needs. Help me come to You each day and trust You with my worries instead of chasing things that never satisfy. Fill me fresh with Your presence today. Amen.
