John 14:1

Worry has a way of sneaking into ordinary moments — the test results we're waiting on, the bills on the counter, the conversation we keep putting off. A troubled heart is part of living in a broken world, and pretending we're fine never really works. What makes the difference is where we carry the weight.

Jesus spoke these words on the hardest night of His followers' lives, knowing trouble was coming for them too. He didn't promise them a pain-free road; He offered them an anchor instead. Real endurance isn't white-knuckling our way through hard seasons alone. It's choosing, moment by moment, to lean on Someone who is steady.

So today, turn worry into conversation. When your chest tightens and your thoughts start spinning, pause and pray something simple: 'God, I'm scared about this, and I'm choosing to trust You with it.' Then write down one time in your past when God came through for you, and keep it where you can see it. Remembered faithfulness fuels present trust.

And don't endure alone. Send the text, make the call, show up to your small group even when you'd rather hide. Steady hearts are rarely built in isolation, and letting someone pray with you today might be exactly how God settles your soul.

Dear Lord, You know every worry I'm carrying today. Help me hand each one to You and trust You with what I cannot see or control. Give me endurance and peace for this day. Amen.
