Becoming part of God's family isn't something you earn. It's something you receive. That means faith starts with a simple, honest step: welcoming Jesus into your life instead of trying to clean yourself up first.
John 1:12

But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name:
But receiving Him isn't just a one-time prayer. It's a daily posture. Each morning, you can practically open the door again — inviting Him into your plans, your worries, and your relationships before the day gets busy.
Notice the word 'right.' God gives you the authority to call yourself His child. So when shame whispers that you don't belong, or fear says you're on your own, you can push back with confidence: I have been made family by God Himself.
Today, live like someone who belongs. Pray boldly instead of hesitantly. Walk into your day with your head up. And treat other believers as the brothers and sisters they truly are — because the family you've been given is meant to be lived in, not just believed.
One simple practice: write down one area of your life where you've been living like an orphan — anxious, striving, or alone — and hand it to your Father in prayer before noon today.
Father, thank You for receiving me and making me Your child through Jesus. Help me live today from that identity, not for it. Remind me when I forget that I belong to You. Amen.
