John 1:1

Before anything you can see or touch existed, Jesus was already there. He wasn't created, and He isn't just a good teacher or a distant idea. He is fully God, present from the very start. That truth changes how we pray, because we're never talking to someone who came late to our story.

Think about what that means for your week. Everything around you shifts—jobs change, health changes, people let us down. But Jesus does not change. When your world feels shaky, you have Someone solid to lean on, and He's not going anywhere.

So make this practical: open your Bible for a few minutes today, even if it's just one verse. Because Jesus is the Word, reading Scripture isn't homework—it's spending time with a Person who loves you. Let His voice be the first one you hear before the noise of the day starts.

And when a decision or worry comes up this afternoon, pause for ten seconds and remember who you're talking to. You're not figuring out life alone; you're walking with the One who was there before the beginning. Bring Him your real questions, out loud, like He's right beside you—because He is.

Dear Lord, thank You that Jesus has always been with You and is fully God, unchanging and dependable. Help me anchor my day in Him, listening to His voice through Your Word and trusting Him with every worry. In Jesus' name, Amen.
