Job 13:15

Job was in real pain, and he didn't pretend otherwise. He said out loud that he felt hopeless — yet he refused to walk away from God. That's a kind of faith we don't talk about enough: the kind that shows up broken.

Sometimes we think real faith means acting like everything is fine. It doesn't. God can handle your honesty, and what He wants from you isn't a performance — it's your presence, even when you have no answers.

So what does this look like today? When the diagnosis comes, when the money runs out, when a prayer you've prayed for years still sits unanswered — keep talking to God anyway. Bring Him your frustration, your tears, and your questions. Simply staying with Him is itself an act of trust.

Trust is not a feeling; it is a decision you make in the dark. You may not understand what God is doing right now, but you can decide today that you will not let go of Him. Hold your ground. He is worth holding on to.

Father, there are seasons when I don't understand what You are doing, and hope feels thin. Help me stay honest with You and keep coming back anyway. Hold me close when I can't hold on by myself. Amen.
