“Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“that I will raise to David a righteous Branch; and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.

Jeremiah 23:5 · Prophecy
Reflection 1

Jeremiah spoke these words to people living under corrupt leaders and broken promises. Everything around them looked hopeless. Yet God promised a King was coming who would never fail, never cheat, and never rule unfairly. That same promise gives us hope today.

Reflection 2

Jesus is the righteous Branch. When the news is discouraging and leaders disappoint us, we can rest knowing our true King already reigns. His kingdom is not shaky like the systems of this world, and His wisdom never runs out.

Reflection 3

So what does this mean for Monday morning? It means inviting Jesus to reign in the places you actually live: your work, your money, your family, your words. Before a big decision, ask simply, 'King Jesus, what is the wise and right thing here?' Then obey what He shows you.

Reflection 4

It also means becoming a small picture of His justice. Be honest even when it costs you. Treat the people others overlook with dignity, and stand up for what is right in ordinary, everyday moments.

Reflection 5

When the world feels crooked, remember that God keeps His promises down to the last detail. The Branch has come, and He is making all things right in His perfect time.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for sending the righteous King my heart needed. Help me live each day under His wise rule and practice justice and righteousness in my own small corner of the world. Amen.
