Jeremiah 17:7

Here's the good news: when your confidence rests in God instead of your circumstances, your hope stops rising and falling with the stock market, the doctor's report, or other people's opinions. Try this today: pick one thing you've been anxiously holding onto, and verbally give it to God. Then watch what happens in your heart when you stop gripping so tightly.

Dear Lord, thank You for being trustworthy even when everything around me feels uncertain. Today I choose to place my confidence in You instead of my own strength. Help me trust You in the small moments, and fill me with a steady hope that doesn't waver. Amen.
