James 5:11

Endurance rarely feels blessed while it's happening. It feels like another doctor's appointment, another sleepless night, another day of holding it together. Job had no idea how his story would end when he kept trusting in the middle of his loss.

But notice where the spotlight lands: on the outcome. God was not absent during Job's suffering—He was working through every hour of it, and His compassion never ran out. The same Lord who restored Job is at work in your waiting too, even when you can't see it yet.

So what does this look like today? If you're praying for healing—physical, emotional, or in a broken relationship—don't stop asking. Keep bringing your pain honestly to God, even when the answer hasn't come. Honest perseverance is still perseverance.

And don't endure alone. Tell a trusted friend what you're carrying, ask for prayer, and let people sit with you on the hard days. Often God's compassion shows up through the people He sends.

Remember, someone around you is watching how you hold on. Your steady trust in a hard season might be the very thing that helps them see that God is real, near, and full of mercy.

Dear Lord, You see the weight I'm carrying and the healing I'm still waiting for. Give me the strength to persevere like Job, and remind me that Your compassion and mercy never run out, no matter how long the road. I trust You with the outcome. Amen.
