Isaiah 64:8

Before God is anything else to you, He is your Father. He is not a distant factory owner stamping out products. He kneads, holds, and knows every part of you personally, like a dad who delights in the child He made.

Notice how clay becomes useful: it stays soft on the wheel and lets the potter work. Clay never argues about its shape. Your part today is simply to stay yielded, not to figure out the finished design.

That matters most when life squeezes you. A hard week at work, a health scare, a relationship that keeps stretching you. Pressure often means the Potter is forming something in you, not punishing you. Don't compare your shape to anyone else's either. Your cup and their cup are meant to look different.

So here is one practical step: name one area where you have been gripping control, maybe a plan, a person, or a past mistake, and open your hands. Tell God, 'This is Yours to shape today.' Then go about your ordinary tasks trusting that He is still working, even when you cannot see the wheel turning.

Dear Lord, thank You for being my Father and for holding my life in Your skilled, loving hands. Today I stop resisting Your shaping and surrender the areas I have been gripping. Make me into what You created me to be. Amen.
