For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.
God never sends His people out empty-handed. Before you walk into your day, He hands you two gifts: joy to carry and peace to lean on. That means your busy schedule, your commute, and even your hard conversations were never meant to be traveled in dread.
So before you head out today, pause for just ten seconds. Take a breath and ask God to fill you with His joy instead of your worries. Then try walking slower than your anxiety wants you to walk, because peace has a pace, and it is never frantic.
This verse paints creation itself celebrating, with mountains singing and trees clapping their hands. That is God's way of saying joy is everywhere if you have eyes to see it. Step outside and notice something: the sunlight, the breeze, a bird singing like it has good news. Let what He made remind you that He is generous and He is near.
