But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5 · Healing
Reflection 1

Some of the deepest wounds we carry are the ones nobody can see. Old hurts, guilt over past mistakes, anxiety that won't let go. This verse reminds us that none of that pain went unnoticed by God. Jesus took it all on himself so that wholeness could be possible for you.

Reflection 2

So today, practice honesty with God. Instead of saying the polite thing in prayer, tell Him what's actually broken. Maybe it's a diagnosis, a strained marriage, or a habit you're ashamed of. Healing often begins the moment we stop pretending we're fine and let God into the real stuff.

Reflection 3

Then, receive the peace that was already paid for. If you've asked for forgiveness, stop re-punishing yourself for it. When shame whispers that you're still broken, remind yourself that the price was settled in full, and let that truth quiet your heart.

Reflection 4

Finally, let your healing flow outward. Forgive the person who wounded you, even if they never apologize. Send the text, make the call, sit with someone who's hurting. Wounds that Christ has healed become wounds He can use to heal others.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You that my healing was paid for on the cross. Help me bring You my hidden hurts today instead of carrying them alone. Make me whole, and let that wholeness spill over into someone else's life. Amen.
