Isaiah 41:11

Have you ever had someone who just seemed set against you? Maybe it's a coworker who criticizes everything you do, a relative who never misses a chance to put you down, or a friend whose loyalty quietly faded. Opposition hurts, and it can steal our peace if we let it.

God speaks straight into that pain. He promises that the people burning with anger against you will end up disappointed, and those who fight you will fade into nothing. Their rage has an expiration date; His faithfulness does not.

So here is the practical part: stop trying to win every battle. You don't have to craft the perfect comeback, defend your name at every turn, or lose sleep replaying their words. Hand the case over to God and let Him be your defense.

Try this today: when someone comes against you, instead of rehearsing an argument in your head, whisper a quick prayer and release it. Keep doing your work with excellence, keep treating people with kindness, and trust God with the outcome. Peace comes when we stop carrying what He never asked us to carry.

Dear Lord, thank You that You stand up for me when others stand against me. Help me let go of the need to defend myself and rest in Your protection today. Amen.
