You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

Isaiah 26:3 · Courage
Reflection 1

Peace can feel hard to find. Our minds race with worries about work, family, money, and health, and the noise never seems to stop. But God offers a peace that doesn't depend on circumstances. It starts with where we keep our thoughts.

Reflection 2

A steadfast mind isn't a mind that never wavers. It's a mind that keeps coming back to God, over and over, even after it drifts. Every time worry pulls your attention away, you get to gently steer it back to Him. That steady returning is an act of quiet courage.

Reflection 3

So try this today. When anxiety rises before a hard conversation, a big decision, or in the middle of the night, pause and name what you're afraid of. Then say it to God in a simple sentence: “I trust You with this.” You don't need fancy words. You just need to hand it over.

Reflection 4

Peace isn't something you manufacture by gritting your teeth. It's something you receive as you lean on the One who never changes. Courage isn't the absence of fear either. It's choosing to trust God right in the middle of it, one thought at a time.

Prayer

Dear Lord, my thoughts run wild so easily, and worry steals my calm. Help me keep my mind fixed on You today, and give me the courage to trust You with everything I cannot control. Fill me with Your perfect peace. Amen.
