Knowing God is more than collecting facts about Him. It means letting what He loves shape what you do on an ordinary Tuesday, like how you speak to your kids, respond to a rude coworker, or treat the person everyone else avoids. Real knowledge of God always shows up in how we treat people.
So here is a practical step: make knowing God a daily habit. Spend ten minutes in Scripture before your day starts, pray on your commute, or talk with Him while washing dishes. Small, steady time with Him fills your heart the way water fills the sea, little by little until it overflows.
And watch what happens next. When God fills your heart, harm makes way for healing. You become slower to wound and quicker to bless, and the peace Isaiah dreamed about starts showing up in your home, your workplace, and your neighborhood today.
Dear Lord, fill me with the knowledge of You until it overflows into the way I treat everyone around me. Make me a person of peace today, slow to hurt and quick to heal. In Jesus' name, Amen.
