Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.
There is a big difference between knowing facts about God and actually knowing Him. Information fills the head, but the Spirit fills the heart. The same Spirit that rested fully on Jesus now lives in everyone who belongs to Him, and His job is to make God real and personal to you.
This shows up in ordinary moments. When you face a hard conversation, a big decision, or a season of confusion, you do not have to rely only on your own understanding. Pause and simply ask the Spirit for wisdom in that moment, and you invite heaven's perspective into an earthly problem.
Growing in this kind of knowledge takes time with God. Open your Bible not just to learn, but to listen. Let the Spirit turn words on a page into a living friendship with your Father.
Notice that this knowledge flows out of reverence. Knowing God deeply starts with honoring Him, treating Him as holy rather than as an afterthought in a busy week. Awe and intimacy grow together, and both begin the moment you make room for God today.
Father, thank You for giving me Your Spirit so I can truly know You. Fill me with wisdom and understanding for everything I face today, and keep my heart tender and reverent toward You. Amen.
