God doesn't slam the door on messy people. He pulls up a chair. That invitation to reason together means you can come to Him with your regrets, your questions, even your shame, and He won't turn you away. He isn't waiting to lecture you. He's waiting to clean you up.
Maybe you're carrying a failure you've never forgiven yourself for. It feels permanent, like a stain woven into who you are. But here's the hope: God specializes in what seems impossible. The deepest red in your past is not beyond His power to make white as snow.
So today, stop rehearsing what God has already released. When old guilt whispers in your ear, answer it out loud: that sin is forgiven. You don't have to earn a clean record. You get to live from one.
And let that grace flow outward. If God can wash your stain away, you can release the debt someone owes you. Forgiven people become forgiving people.
Dear Lord, thank You for inviting me close instead of turning me away. Help me bring my failures to You honestly and receive the cleansing You freely give. Make me quick to extend that same grace to someone else today. Amen.
