Purity doesn't start with rules — it starts with a heart that belongs to God. In His covenant promise, He doesn't just hand us a list to follow; He writes His truth inside our minds and hearts. That means the desire to live clean and holy can grow within you, not just be forced on you from the outside.
So feed your heart well. What you read, watch, and dwell on eventually shapes what you want. Try starting your day with even one verse of Scripture, and notice how it colors your thoughts for the rest of the day.
Also be honest about what's coming in. If a show, a habit, or a thought pattern keeps pulling you away from God, take it seriously. Purity is often protected by small daily choices — like what you click, who you listen to, and what you allow yourself to imagine.
And when you fall short, don't hide in shame. God has claimed you as His own, so run back to Him instead of away from Him. Every time you confess and return, His Spirit writes His truth a little deeper in your heart.
Dear Lord, thank You for not leaving me to fight for purity on my own. Write Your truth so deeply in my heart that choosing what is right becomes my joy. Keep me close to You today. Amen.
