Hebrews 6:11

Most of us are really good at starting. We begin a new season full of energy and expectation, whether it is a fresh faith, a big prayer, or a long-awaited change. But hope gets tested in the middle, when the answer is slow and the days feel ordinary. That is exactly where this verse meets us: keep going, with the same eagerness you had at the start, all the way to the end.

So what does that look like today? Maybe it means praying about that same situation again, even though you have prayed about it a hundred times. Maybe it means showing up for your family, your church, or your work with a good attitude when nobody is clapping for you. Diligence is not dramatic. It is simply faithfulness repeated.

Do not measure your hope by how you feel this morning. Feelings rise and fall, but God's promises do not move. When your strength runs low, lean on His. Hope stays alive in small, steady choices: opening your Bible for a few minutes, speaking a kind word, choosing to believe one more day.

And remember, you are not enduring alone. God Himself is working in you as you wait, shaping patience and deepening trust. The end of the story is secure, so take heart and keep walking.

Dear Lord, thank You that my hope rests in You and not in my circumstances. When I grow tired of waiting, renew my strength and help me stay diligent to the very end. Amen.
