Maybe you think your problem is your schedule, but God's Word reveals it's actually pride or fear. That sharp, honest cut is a gift, because God only exposes what He intends to heal.
So here's a practical step for today: when you're tired, discouraged, or tempted to quit, don't just read the Bible to check a box. Read a short passage slowly, then ask God, 'What are You showing me about my own heart right now?' Sit with that question for a minute before you rush off.
Endurance isn't built by pretending everything is fine. It's built by letting God's truth cut away the things that wear us down, like bitterness, lies we believe, and misplaced priorities. Keep showing up to His Word, and it will keep strengthening you for the long road ahead.
Dear Lord, thank You that Your Word is alive and still speaks to me today. Cut away whatever is slowing me down, and give me the strength to keep going. Help me trust that Your truth always works for my good. Amen.
