Hebrews 11:2

The people who went before us weren't remembered because they were perfect. Many of them failed, doubted, and stumbled just like we do. What set them apart was simple: they trusted God when they couldn't see the whole picture, and that trust was what earned their good standing with Him.

That truth flips the way we usually think. We tend to measure ourselves by results, titles, and accomplishments. But God looks at something deeper. He is pleased not by a flawless performance, but by a heart that leans on Him even when the outcome is unclear.

So what does that look like on an ordinary Tuesday? It looks like obeying God with your money before you know how the bills will get paid. It looks like forgiving someone who hasn't apologized. It looks like praying over a situation you can't fix instead of white-knuckling your way through it.

Here is the encouragement: you don't need an impressive resume for God to approve of you. Every time you choose faith over fear, even in a small moment, you are building the same kind of testimony that the faithful men and women of old carried. Start with one act of trust today.

Faith is not a feeling you wait for; it's a choice you make. And the beautiful thing is that God honors every single one of those choices, no matter how small they seem.

Dear Lord, thank You that You are pleased by simple trust in You, not by my performance. Help me take one real step of faith today in the areas where I can't see the outcome. Let my life tell the same story of trust that Your faithful ones have told before me. Amen.
