Galatians 4:4

Have you ever noticed that God rarely works on our schedule? For centuries, His people waited for the promised Savior. Prophets spoke, generations came and went, and still the sky stayed quiet. Then, at exactly the right moment, God acted. Not one day early, not one day late.

That truth matters for your waiting seasons too. Maybe you are praying for a job, for healing, for a wayward child, or for direction on a big decision. The silence can feel like God forgot you. He did not. Delay is not denial, and the waiting is not wasted time.

Here is a practical step: write down the prayers you are waiting on, along with the ways God has already come through for you in the past. When doubt creeps in, read that list. Remembering His track record builds trust for what He has not yet done.

Also take heart in how God chose to arrive. He came through an ordinary family, in an ordinary town, under real-life pressures just like yours. That means no part of your ordinary Tuesday is too small for God to work in. Keep showing up faithfully right where you are, because His perfect timing is often unfolding in the middle of it.

Father, thank You that Your timing is never early and never late. Help me trust You in the waiting and remember the promises You have already kept. Teach me to live faithfully today, knowing You are working behind the scenes. Amen.
