But Paul says something radical here: no amount of rule-keeping ever made anyone right with God. Not then, not now. We are made right with God one way only—by trusting in Jesus. His record, not ours, is what God looks at.

So what does that mean for your Monday morning? It means you can stop striving to earn what has already been given. When you mess up, you don't have to hide or grovel your way back into God's good graces. You're already His, and that never changes.

Today, try living from acceptance instead of for it. Serve your family, work honestly, and love people—not to earn points, but because you already have everything you need in Christ. Obedience flows out of gratitude, not fear.

And when that old scoreboard starts up in your head again? Remember: it's not about what you've done. It's about what He has done.

Prayer
Dear Lord, forgive me for the times I've tried to earn Your love through my own effort. Thank You that I am made right with You through faith in Jesus alone. Help me rest in that truth today and live freely from it. Amen.
