Exodus 20:14

When God gave this command, He wasn't being harsh—He was protecting something precious. Marriage is a covenant, and faithfulness is the glue that holds it together. This commandment is a shield around your home, your heart, and the people you love most.

Here's the truth: adultery rarely starts with an affair. It starts with small compromises—a lingering glance, a private conversation you know you shouldn't have, a message you'd be embarrassed for your spouse to read. Purity is won or lost in those everyday moments, long before anything big happens.

So guard your heart on purpose. Set real boundaries with your phone, your social media, and your friendships with the opposite sex. If you're married, invest in your spouse—date them, talk to them, pursue them. If you're single, honor your future covenant and respect the covenants of others.

And if you've already stumbled, don't hide in shame. God is not waiting to crush you; He's waiting to restore you. Bring it into the light, confess it, get real help, and let Him rebuild what's been broken. His grace is bigger than your worst failure.

Dear Lord, keep my heart pure and my eyes fixed on what is good. Help me set boundaries that protect my marriage and honor You in every private moment. Thank You for Your grace that forgives and restores. Amen.
