Most of us spend a lot of energy on our outer life. We fix our schedule, grab another coffee, and try harder to hold it all together. But Paul prays for something deeper here. He asks God to strengthen us on the inside, where no schedule or supplement can reach.

that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person
Think about what wears you down. Maybe it is worry that runs in the background all day, a relationship that drains you, or the quiet feeling that you are running on empty. That is exactly the place where God's Spirit wants to work. His power is not for show; it is for the hidden weight you carry that nobody else sees.
So how do you live this today? Start the morning with a simple, honest prayer: "Lord, I cannot do this in my own strength. Strengthen me from the inside." Then, when pressure hits mid-day, pause before you react. Take thirty seconds, breathe, and ask the Spirit to renew you right there in the moment.
You will also want to stay connected to the source. Inner strength grows through small habits: a few verses read slowly, a short prayer in the car, a moment of gratitude before bed. These are not chores. They are openings for God's power to keep flowing into your life.
Here is the good news: this strength is not earned. It comes according to the riches of God's glory, not according to how well you performed yesterday. You do not have to be strong first. You only have to be willing to receive.
Dear Lord, I admit how quickly I run out of my own strength. Fill me with Your power through Your Spirit today, deep in my heart where only You can reach. Help me lean on You in every small moment. Amen.
