Most of us know what it feels like to be on the outside. Maybe it was the new job, the new neighborhood, or the group that already had inside jokes you didn't get. That ache to belong is real — and God speaks directly to it. He says you're not a stranger to Him. You never were, once you came to Christ.
Ephesians 2:19

So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God,
So here's the practical question: are you living like someone who belongs, or like someone still waiting to be let in? Some of us pray cautiously, serve hesitantly, and hold God at arm's length, as if we're only visitors who might overstay our welcome. But you're not a guest in God's house. You're family. Family has full access.
Today, live from that belonging. Pray boldly, like a child walking into their own home. Show up at church not as a spectator but as a member of the household — because you are. When you mess up, don't run and hide like an outsider would; come home, apologize, and sit back down at the table.
And one more thing: there are people around you who feel like outsiders, maybe even at church. You know that feeling, so you're perfectly qualified to notice it in others. Learn a name, save a seat, send the text. You belong to God's family — now go help someone else feel like they do too.
Dear Lord, thank You for bringing me close when I was far away. Help me stop living like a stranger in Your house and start living like the family member You say I am. Use me today to make someone else feel like they belong. Amen.
