Deuteronomy 15:10

Have you ever helped someone and then felt a little sting inside, like you wished you hadn't? God cares about that feeling. He asks us to give freely, without regret or resentment, because the way we give matters just as much as what we give.

In everyday life, this might look like buying groceries for a struggling neighbor, covering a bill for a friend in a tight spot, or simply being generous when the opportunity comes. It can also mean giving your time and attention, helping without keeping score. Whatever the need, give like it's a joy, not a tax.

Here's the beautiful part: God attaches a promise to this kind of giving. When your heart stays open and glad, He blesses your work and everything you put your hands to. You really can't out-give God. He sees every gift and gives back more than you release.

So this week, watch for one chance to give. Don't pause to calculate what you might lose. Give with a smile in your heart and trust God with the rest. That's where the blessing begins.

Dear Lord, make me a cheerful giver who gives without holding back or holding grudges. Bless the work of my hands so I can be a channel of Your generosity to others. Amen.
