Daniel 2:20

When Daniel faced an impossible situation, his first response wasn't panic or self-reliance. It was praise. Before anything was even resolved, he stopped to honor God for who He is. That alone is a lesson for us.

We all hit walls in life: a decision we can't untangle, a problem at work, a relationship that feels stuck. This verse reminds us where real wisdom and real strength come from. They aren't found in our own cleverness or hustle. They belong to God, and He shares them freely with those who ask.

Try this today: when you feel confused or stretched thin, pause and praise God before you ask Him for anything. Thank Him that He already knows the answer you're searching for. That simple shift moves your heart from anxiety to trust.

And when God does give you insight or opens a door, don't rush past it. Give Him the credit. Tell someone, even briefly, how He helped you. Gratitude keeps us humble and keeps our eyes on the true source.

Wisdom isn't a feeling you have to work up. It's a gift from a generous Father. Walk into today knowing that the God who holds all wisdom and power is ready to guide you through whatever comes.

Dear Lord, thank You that wisdom and strength are Yours, and that You willingly share them with me. When I feel lost or overwhelmed today, remind me to turn to You first, not last. Help me trust Your wisdom above my own. Amen.
