So many of us walk through life feeling like something is missing. We chase achievements, approval, and relationships, hoping they will finally make us feel whole. But here is the stunning truth for anyone who belongs to Jesus: you are already complete. There is nothing left to add and nothing left to earn.
Think about what that means for today. The promotion, the compliment, the perfect relationship — none of them can make you more whole than you already are. And the criticism or failure you are dreading? It cannot make you less whole either. Your fullness is settled in Christ, not in your circumstances.
Paul also reminds us that Christ is head over every power and authority. Nothing in heaven or on earth outranks Him. So when fear, anxiety, or pressure tries to push you around today, remember whose you are. You are not fighting for victory — you are living from it.
Here is a simple practice: whenever you feel 'not enough' today, pause and whisper, 'I am complete in Christ.' Let that truth shape how you speak, work, and treat the people around you. Live from fullness, not for it.
Dear Lord, thank You that I am complete in Christ, lacking nothing. Help me stop chasing what You have already given and rest in who I am in You. Today, let me live confidently from Your fullness. Amen.
