to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27 · Hope
Reflection 1

It's easy to think of God as far away, up in heaven and hard to reach. But this truth changes everything: through faith, Christ actually lives in you. The same Savior who died and rose again has made His home in your heart. You are never walking through today alone.

Reflection 2

That means hope isn't something you have to chase down or work up on your own. When life feels heavy, whether it's a stressful job, a strained relationship, or a health scare, you carry a living hope that no circumstance can take away. Glory is coming, and Christ Himself is your guarantee.

Reflection 3

So how do you live this out? When discouragement whispers that you can't make it, pause and remember who lives within you. Whisper a simple prayer like, 'Lord, work through me right now,' and then move forward with confidence, staying patient with your kids, kind to a coworker, or honest in a hard conversation.

Reflection 4

Christ in you also changes how you see yourself. You are not defined by your worst day or your biggest failure. You carry the presence of God, so walk with your head up today and let that inner hope spill over into how you treat the people around you.

Prayer

Dear Lord, thank You for making Your home in me. Help me live today aware of Your presence, drawing strength and hope from You in every situation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
