Acts 4:30

When the first believers prayed this prayer, they were not in an easy season. They had just been threatened and ordered to stop talking about Jesus. Yet instead of asking God to remove the danger, they asked Him to keep working through them, healing people right in front of a watching world. That kind of prayer takes courage.

The good news is that the same God who healed then still heals now. Sometimes He does it instantly and miraculously. Often He works through doctors, medicine, counseling, and simply the passing of time. And very often, He chooses to work through ordinary people like you and me.

So how do you live this out today? Stretch out your hand, literally. Visit the friend in the hospital, call the neighbor who has been sick and lonely, or sit quietly with someone in pain. Bring the meal, offer the ride, and let your presence do some of the talking.

Keep praying boldly for healing, even when it feels awkward or the answer seems slow. You do not need to be a pastor or have perfect words. You just need a willing heart and an outstretched hand, and God will take care of the rest.

Dear Lord, make me part of Your healing work today. Give me courage to reach out to someone who is hurting and faith to keep praying boldly. Use my hands, my words, and my presence to bring Your comfort. Amen.
