Acts 3:25

When Peter spoke these words, he reminded ordinary people of something easy to forget: they weren't outsiders looking in on God's story. They were part of a promise God made long before they were born. The same is true for you. Your faith isn't a random accident or a recent idea — you've been grafted into a plan God has been writing for thousands of years.

That truth changes how you see yourself. On days when you feel small, unqualified, or overlooked, remember that God included you in His family on purpose. You carry a legacy of faithfulness that goes all the way back to Abraham, and it reaches forward to everyone God still wants to bless through you.

Notice the heart of the promise: blessing was never meant to stop with one person or one family. God blessed Abraham so that all the families of the earth would be blessed. That pattern continues with us. Whatever God has given you — your home, your story, your resources, your time — it's meant to flow through you to someone else.

So here's a simple way to live this out today: be a blessing on purpose. Encourage one person who's discouraged. Share your faith naturally with someone who's far from God. Meet a practical need without being asked. When you bless others, you're not just being kind — you're participating in a prophecy God is still fulfilling.

You don't have to do something huge. You just have to stay open. God's promise to bless the world through His people includes your street, your workplace, and your kitchen table.

Dear Lord, thank You for including me in Your family and Your promises. Help me see the people around me today the way You see them, and show me one simple way to be a blessing. Use my life to carry Your promise forward. Amen.
