Paul spoke these words while standing trial, wrongly accused and facing an uncertain future. Yet he still called himself a man of hope. That is what makes his confidence so powerful—his hope was not built on good circumstances, but on God's promise.
Resurrection hope means this life is not the whole story. When we bury someone we love, when our bodies weaken, or when injustice seems to win, we remember that God has the final word. The grave is not the end for those who trust Him.
