Long before we knew Him, God was already making room for us. This verse reminds us that His plan was never just for a select few — it was always meant to reach everyone, everywhere. No one is an afterthought to God. Not the outsider, not the stranger, not the person who seems far from Him.
So ask yourself today: who is 'outside' in your world? Maybe it's a coworker who never hears a kind word, a neighbor who believes differently than you, or a family member who's wandered away. God's heart beats for them just as much as it beats for you.
Here's the practical part: do one thing this week to make someone feel wanted. Invite them to coffee. Pray for them by name. Say yes when you'd normally stay in your comfortable circle. You don't have to preach a sermon — just open a door and leave it open.
And take heart in the last part of this promise: God is the One who does all these things. Your job is simply to be faithful with the person in front of you. He's been working on hearts long before you showed up, and He'll keep working long after. That takes the pressure off and lets you love people freely.
Those are your next steps: notice who's on the outside, reach out in a small way, and trust God with the results. He's still gathering people to Himself, and He might just use you to do it.
Father, thank You that Your love was never meant to leave anyone out. Give me eyes to see the people around me the way You see them, and courage to reach out to someone this week. Use my small efforts for Your big plan. Amen.
