2 Timothy 2:10

Paul wrote these words from a dark place. He was chained like a criminal, suffering for preaching the gospel. Yet his eyes weren't on his own comfort. He saw a bigger purpose: his hard seasons were for the sake of people who still needed to find salvation in Jesus.

That's a challenging thought for us. Most of the time, we just want our struggles to be over. But what if your endurance is serving someone else? What if your patience in a difficult marriage, a draining job, or a long season of waiting is giving someone a glimpse of God's faithfulness?

Endurance is rarely glamorous. It's ordinary faithfulness repeated day after day—showing up again, forgiving again, praying again, believing again when nothing has changed yet. The people watching you, like your kids, coworkers, and neighbors, learn what real faith looks like by how you keep going.

So today, don't just endure for your own sake. Endure for the people God has placed around you who still need to see His love up close. Your faithfulness might be the very thing God uses to draw someone to Christ.

That's a hope worth holding onto when quitting feels easier.

Father, give me strength to keep going when I want to give up. Remind me that my endurance can point others to You, and use my struggles today for someone else's salvation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
