Ever wonder why someone can hear the good news clearly and still walk away unchanged? There's a real spiritual battle going on behind the scenes. Unbelief isn't always just a head problem—it's often a blindness the enemy puts on hearts. That means the people you love who don't yet follow Jesus aren't simply stubborn; they can't see what you see.
This changes how we pray for them. Instead of getting frustrated when a friend or family member just doesn't get it, we can ask God to lift the veil. Arguments rarely open eyes—prayer does what logic cannot. So keep sharing your faith gently, but bathe it in prayer.
And honestly, we need that prayer for ourselves too. All of us have blind spots where culture, pride, or old habits have clouded our vision. Ask God today to show you anywhere you're seeing dimly or settling for less than His best.
Then go be a light-carrier. Live in a way that makes people curious about Jesus, and trust that God is more able to open eyes than the enemy is to close them.
Father, open the eyes of the people I love who can't yet see Your Son clearly. Remove anything blinding me, too, and help me shine His light in a way that draws others to You. Amen.
